Deep, mixed, principally clayey, South-East exposition, in a well-ventilated, sunny area in the foothills of the great Caucasus Mountains. Hillside soil, 400 meters above sea level

50% Syrah, 50% Marcelan

ALCOHOL

13% by vol

MATURATION

In Italian big barrels

VINIFICATION

Red, maceration and fermentation in skins for 7 days, with a use of selection yeast, at the temperature of 25°C maximum.

TASTING NOTES

Very soft tannins balanced with a nose of red berries and light spices
